well, the holidays are just shit lah, every day is just damn boring..so i was surfing the web and came to this cool thing..

Embroidery! wow man some of the patterns are just downright cool. so i decided to try during this week..hehe

First day i had to went down to beauty world plaza @ bukit timah to get the embroidery floss, kinda ex if u buy alot at the same time..70cents per skein but lots and lots of colours..its crazy..

Then i found out i needed more...and i am damn lazy to go down to that shop @ bt again..so i tried my luck @ the sewing shop near my house.....and guess what..they have the exact same kind of embroidery floss -.-!!! same design same brand somemore..that france DMC brand..bwahaha!!

BUT they dont nearly have as many colours to choose from..the tone of the colour i needed arent in stock..DAMN!! but nvm...i settle for another tone instead..

and after days of asking at a forum because although they have pictures..i cant seem to figure it out =.=, i finally got the anwser to how to do all the damn knots..argh

The preparation of the strings is already a nightmare...because each design could easily involve 8 to 11 strands..and its after division, so i have to prepare like 4 strings, then fold in half and tie a knot at the top to get 8 strings in total...the initial part is ALWAYS THE HARDEST..because first i have to arrange the string in proper order and then clip them down...then i have to start the knots and determine a starting line for all the other knots..which is also very difficult to gauge..

Did i mention the preparation part? i got so frustrated with 1 skein of thread because it got tangled -.- and i just wanna pull it apart, i pulled very hard, but the threads are much more resilient than i thought..and the threads cut my skin, luckily i let go quick enough..or it will be a deep cut..the weirdest thing is that no blood seeped out, i guess i am damn lucky that no veins or flesh were cut, haha!!!

Finally got the strings done..i followed 1 easy pattern and got this after about 1hr or so.
